At least on controller, I’m often accidentally changing weapons, always without even realising for a good moment (And atm I don’t even have a weapon assigned to my free slot so I just start punching bad guys - you should have seen my reaction when I suddenly started trying to fist fight the boss at the end of the crucible, good lord!).
Perhaps a weapon wheel that requires intentional input, rather than a single button press might solve this?
in the meantime we can open “Steam Controller configuration” and configure the button behavior for the weapon swap buttons from regular press to Double Press or Long Press(Hold) instead.
(I would’ve used Hold because i also accidentally swap weapons however i’ve set up my Dpad a little bit different through the controller configuration)
