Mariner's Keep West can be accessed without key through a Pestilence Outbreak (Gordon quest)

Hi,

I can break into West Mariner’s keep by using a ladder and platue that is created due an Outbreak.

I was also afraid it would bork Gordon’s quest but luckily it didn’t.

What happens if you clear the Outbreak?

Gordon returns to his spot, and you will see him from the left tower where you kick down the ladder.

The animation when he calls “kick down the ladder!” will still play (even though I already let it down) so that probably should be corrected, other than that no issues fortunately.

I think this was done on purpose since the plague boss sometimes appears there.

The fact that it doesn’t break the quest is I think proof that this is a feature not a bug.

The existence of this road allowed me to complete the pestilent zone when the door was bugged and would return to being closed after the quest (the bug has been fixed).

This thing is a bit silly xD (but at least it works).

Yeah I’m with you that this also can be very likely be intended, I’ll hope that Steve can confirm either way :wink:
