I skipped the Mariners Keep by jumping out of a window and ran past the falling bridge to the Cerim Whisper. I then tried to fight the boss once and saw Fillmore at the Whisper. I then headed back to Mariners Keep to finish it, but now i cant open the Gate because Fillmore is already waiting past the Keep. Am I missing something or can I just not open it anymore?
Can you show in a video, how you bypassed the keep.

is the key gone? normally the smith is trapped in a room with some enemies near the gate. south side of the room should be a window or something where u can find the key to open the gate.
didnt see it, but im gonna look again
you have to go through a window or broken wall on the south side and along a short wooden plank. at the right end of the blank should be the key (if i remember correctly)
just so we are on the same page, because i dont know the translation to the item needed. the german version is “Torhebelgriff”
and I checked the whole Keep and couldnt find it

the key to the room is here:
and i know where your issue is now. after using the key filmore gives u the handle for the gate.
so the game should have a fallback, leaving the handle in the room or soemthing, so u can open the gate when skipping filmore.

should i start a new world (i wasnt far progressed) or is there something i can do against that
So, for now while we look into it, you can do one of two things"
- Yes start a new world, we’re sorry about that.
- Just do that path around anytime ur in that area untill a fix is in.
Seeing as its still the start of the game, maybe restart to avoid the hassle.
The gate should automatically open after you reach Sacrament. Can you continue to double check that please.
