Man, if they implement this, "IT'S OVER GUYS"

Man, I’m extremely happy with the update. I made a bold statement to my friend saying that this is literally the game I dreamed of several years ago and explained how every detail is how I envisioned it. However, it seems like there’s a missing piece.

A piece that made Baldurs Gate 3 go from an S+ tier game to an SSS+ for me.

Local Split Screen Coop.

And oh boy. If this game has this, It’s OVER GUYS!

I saw a little experiment by T. Mahler where he saw the game in third person. And it was simply very interesting to say the least.

Anyway, I think a lot of people are being greatly surprised by the quality and shape that the game is taking. I did a new playthrough after “The Breach” and was impressed with the expansion of the two new areas, mechanics and quality of life added to the game. ‘Refined’ improved even more.

The game is simply going to become God Tier in the gaming world! Like Ori, that has a legendary fame. NRFTW It’s simply going to be great!. Now with this masterpiece in our hands. Let’s make some noise and hope for ‘SPLITSCREEN COOP’ :open_mouth:.

THE PEOPLE DEMAND SPLIT-SCREEN!

AND WITH OUR PARTNERS!

WE REPEAT: WE WANT SPLIT-SCREEN!

Jokes aside, guys. The game is incredible. Whatever content awaits us, I’m anxiously awaiting it, I really trust in your work. Congratulations again. The game is getting incredible!

For others if they are interested in the 3rd person camera experiment:

I don’t think local split screen is coming, because that would require the PC to run almost 2 instances of the game, and most machines struggles to just run 1 instance :stuck_out_tongue:

But agree, local split screen would be awesome, so would the 3d person camera, but I don’t think we should bet on any of them.

Yeeeees, totally valid points. I imagined those factors myself. But, it doesn’t hurt to dream, right? hehe c:
After I saw the third-person video, I remembered BG3 and its splitscreen and dreamed big. My brother and I have been talking about game design since we were teenagers. And nowadays, with much more knowledge, we are aware of how each little idea of this kind can make the game a nightmare to develop. Not to mention the time and resources to maintain the team.

That would be amazing but it won’t happen, sorry. They have talked about that on Discord. The engine it’s very demanding and they are struggling with optimization with a single screen already. The game can’t render two screens at a single time.

The closest it could get is shared screen (not split). But they haven’t talked about that at least on Discord or podcasts atm.

It would be amazing though.
