I’ve been playing the game for a couple of days after hearing great things about it on YouTube. It definitely exceeds the hype. Having a blast, plain and simple. But I have a request, if it’s feasible. Can Moon Studios please make a Mac native version? I’m running it through CrossOver 25, and it functions, but I’m sure it would function a lot better as a native Mac application. I’m running it on a base M4 Mac mini, with 16GB of RAM, SSD. using the beta build of macOS 26, and while doing the translation on the fly, I get decent frame rates. I would love to get the finished product as a native, supported program (with the associated performance enhancements ).
But I don’t think we’ll be getting a Mac native port before 1.0
I’ve played it in a MacBook Pro M1 with 16GB of RAM and a Mac Mini Pro M4 with 48GB of RAM, and obviously is running much better on the last one.
Though there’s some effects that cause performance drops (Darak’s lair fog, Iona’s Bloom druggy scene). It’s still very playable on the M4 but the dip is noticeable.
Sad news for me, now after latest release included No Rest for the Wicked’s Together with some multiplayer library and it is incompatible with Apple game porting tool, is there any way how to fix that?
