Losing Control of your character

Basically what is happening to both me and my friend in our shared realm is we are losing control of our characters and they are moving on there own gliding throw the map, force pulling us in random directions and throwing us off of cliffs and such, Not sure whats causing it and it happens at random, every couple of minutes or sometimes extensively 3 times in a minute its pretty game breaking and makes the game unplayable at times.

Its hard for me to show it off as it looks like we’re just moving in the clips i have showing but in the clips im about to share my hands are off keyboard and mouse totally and

In this clip you can see the moment i start sliding on the bridge and im trying to fight against it pulling me off then it jumps on its own and i remove my hands fully off the mouse and keyboard it continues to force pull move and slide me in its own direction

Checking integrity of files

This only started after the patch you dropped on Saturday

In this clip it just pulls me left and force jumps off the side ending my crucible run :’(

I’ve recorded 2 more clips, which better show the bug then the previous 2 where you can see whats happening more clearly and hopefully give you a better understanding off whats happening. I see you have just extended the beta please please try get this fixed during that time i really want to keep playing and help finding bugs and help improve the game in this time, but this bug is seriously demoralising and im having a tough time trying to stay in the game.

now and then, my character slides across the screen ( tokyo drift style) for a second or two.

no pattern that i can see. there is nothing i can do until the animation ends and hope there wasnt a cliff nearby

i used to get the drift / pull happening every now and then, 2 or 3 times a day.

today, i have been getting the same interaction 2 -3 times every 30min

rebooted session, lets see

When playing on the experimental branch, sometimes my character is pushed on a random direction against my will. This happens in two different occasions:

  1. when someone is connecting to the realm

  2. during gameplay either alone or with a friend

In both occasions the character just moves to a random direction regardless of the direction I am inputting on the controller. For example: even if I am facing NW and activelly dashing to that direction, the character is pushed to SE.

Happens to me too. Extremely frustrating. I was trying to fight a boss and two times this got me killed because I couldn’t dodge in the direction I wanted to. Another time it just ran my character off a cliff and killed me, lol.
