There are no barriers along the sea in the “The Shallows” and “Lowland Meadows” locations. Barriers are present in some areas, but not everywhere.
When crossing the boundary, we of course fall and crash. But the view you get is absolutely spectacular! 
good to see that someone else tried it in this version of the game i havent tried it since before breach xD
I mean not like barriers should be there or anything..
I mean if there ever comes more content over seas/seafarers or regions i think they would have to remove those barriers
