I love the dark areas and think it would be cool to be able to buy/craft lanterns that can hook onto your belt therefore keeping your hands free for 2h weapons or shields.
Maybe they could give off slightly less light than a torch and the lantern itself can’t be used in combat.
Just a minor thing but think it would be a nice addition that I expect is probably coming anyway.

One hundred percent agree, this would be such a nice change and QOL feature. I was a little sad I had to change from the claymore just so I could equip a torch.

There is a rune that allows you to cast source of light. You can cast it from the secondary weapon if you’re running out of slots. Also elemental infusion effects on the weapon illuminates surrounding area as well.
