Is this a attribute points bug?

As you can see, I have added +1 to Dexterity under Attribute Points, but the attribute bonus on the bow are not upgrading, nor is the total. I have to add +2 to Dexterity for the total to update from 27 to 28. I also tried pressing “Level Up” after placing +1 in Dexterity, but the total was still 27.

Is this a bug? Seems pointless to have points go to the void.

That’s not a 1:1 upgrade.

The bow damage scales with the Dex attribute, in the picture it increases by 13 points with 26 dex.

14 base damage, + 13 modifier = 27.

It’s possible the ratio is 0.5, so having 25 dex gives you 12.5 damage that is either increased to 13 or displayed as 13 just to keep round numbers.

Upgrading the bow at the smithy will also probably increase the ratio of bonuses received by the stats, but this is just my guess, I only recently started playing.

base + attribute = 27

Dexterity upgradet to = 26, no increase to the total in the bow.

But, if I upgrade dex to 27, then the bow will upgrade the total to 28.

But this is where it gets confusing; when I put another point to dex so it gets to 28, the total still upgrades to 29.

Yeah, it’s all explained by the fact that the percentage results in decimal numbers that get rounded up or down to the closes integer.

ok, that’s explains why the total of the bow “skips” an attribute point.

I barely followed that, it’s not a bug? (Yeah I’m asking you haha).

When adding +2 and +3 into Dexterity, the total value is incorrect and/or does not increase.
