Inventory Management (Items to be sold/saved/transmogged/etc)

Only just passing 30 hours in game (baby steps, i know)

but I’ve noticed an issue I’ve had where I’ll have an inventory full of items from common to plagued, I’ll come back to sacrament and forget what i had planned to do with some key pieces. Was I going to sell them? Rip a rune off? Rip an enchant but have to save it until an ember drops?

Or, even worse, i’d log in after a day of not playing and have a full inventory and again, have no idea what I planned to do.

Because of this I thought it might be a good suggestion if an icon could be affixed to individual pieces of loot in your weapons inventory.

As in, you when you loot a chest and see so many new equipment you can press Like, Triangle on your controller to take an item, but list it as ‘junk’ as in, ive already looked over it and its just vendor stuff.

Or, if while you’re in your inventory, you can add an icon to different pieces of equipment in your inventory of your choice, even something as small as a star to say you consider that one piece ‘special’ this way it differentiates the piece in an instant to “I looked this over previously and had a plan at the time to do something with it”

This would, ideally, streamline some equipment management and make it easier to discern what i want to keep/work on rather than lump everything in a giant knapsack and hope for the best.

Hopefully an implementation for this wouldn’t be too stressful to apply as well, in a technical sense.

Thank you for reading this far, what are your thoughts?

I feel like every looter game needs a system like this. Division 2 spoiled me. Mark it as a favorite, and it can’t be deconstructed or dropped, mark it for re-calibration, I know that I need to re-roll a stat on it., mark it for donation, I know it’s a piece I need for a project donation, mark it as trash, I know to extract/vendor it.
