There are several blueprints for sale that I don’t know if I should purchase because I don’t know what it will create. For example the smith has the Tongue Splitter recipe for sale. I have no idea if that will be an axe, a knife, or a tool. Please either create a better title, using words like axe and spear, or, better yet have a tool tip that shows the weapon stats of what you are making.
Please do this for all recipes so we can make informed decisions when buying recipes. I don’t want to buy a recipe for something that scales with a stat I don’t have or has ingredient requirements I can’t get at the moment.
Looking at this blueprint i have no idea if it’s a sword, an axe, 1h, 2h? Unless there’s an option to view it before i buy it that i missed, please point me to it. What stats will be needed to use this weapon?
I miss the possibility of checking what the application of a given blueprint will be. Whether it concerns, for example, a weapon using dexterity, strength or other features, it simply lacks information. I see a similar problem with runes, it is hard for me to guess what their application might be, perhaps some specific parameters would help here? I also do not understand the operation of individual mechanics of frost plague, flames, etc. I would like the descriptions of these mechanics to be somewhere in the game.
some sort of ingame compendium/codex will come at some point. right now i think they are just focused on fixing numerous crashes and other issues first.
I’ve searched for similar feedback, found one, but since was from like a year ago and still unaddressed so, I figured I would make my own (new)…
As the title says, weapon (and possibly armor too) blueprints are too vague, based on the icon pic and maybe the name we might have an idea of what type of weapon it is, but would be much more helpful to have the same type description and requirements (which ones, not necessary the values) that are displayed on weapons you loot or are for sale.
Buying blueprints just to find out those are useless is just an waste (both coin and time.
I assume this will be addressed before official release (if not then is a suggestion XD ), but an acknowledgement of any kind would be much appreciated…
edit: also the dev team reads feedback here, and a ingame compendium of sorts will come at some point, we just do not now exactly when or how that might look
Recipes are not existing anymore, instead you can view all gear (weapons, armor, furniture, food recipes) in the Scribe’s Table and you’ll see the above when hovering.
