Hi all. I’ve already played the same game for 30 hours. And I ran into a problem. Maybe I’m just unlucky. But from the day of release until today, I have never come across topaz to gain focus. And since I play as an archer, it’s very difficult without this stone. I check the junk dealer every day, dig all the ore and plots of land with loot. But I haven’t come across topaz anywhere yet. Does it really have such a small chance of drop?

There is no easy way, but the farm spots are:
- Dig Holes
- Chest (I don’t remember witch of the 4 chest types, one of them can contain gems)
- Grinnich
Took me hours to find one but I finally did. Not sure if they drop from mining ore, I’ve seen other gems in mining loot though.

The RNG is insanely poor for this and if anyone knows anything I’d appreciate the help. I’ve never even seen a blood stone. I have 17 quarts pieces and like 2-3 of everything else.
Combo this with the last topaz I used rolled 1% return now I’m out a weapon I crafted from the ground up (bears paws and all) AND I’m out a gem.
Stop trying to make that build for now, if you don’t have another character you like just stop playing the game in general and give them some time to work on it.
Specific gems are so rare that it’s quite probable that some players will not see them for extremely long streaks, it’s really un-fun and you’ll not like the game very much afterwards if you do the grinding required to get what is… Really just a simple building block that doesn’t do all that much. Even worse you need quite a few of them if you plan to see more than the bottom of their effect range.
