The rim lighting during night time does not seem to be working properly, as for some reason it makes all NPCs glow in a very obvious bluish/purple light, even in environments where the moon is not casting light (such as Crucible, caves and even the player house), so it ends up looking pretty ugly and ruins the game’s gorgeous lighting atmosphere since all NPCs end up glowing blue/purple in places where they shouldn’t be.
- Improved rim light rendering in the shadows to improve game readability in dark areas. This should help with the “game is too dark” feedback we were getting in some cases.
- Adjusted rim lighting looks even nicer and allows characters to feel more integrated into the environments!
Would be nice if this could get vastly improved during night time and also please consider adding a toggle option to disable rim lighting in general, as a lot of people don’t like fake character lighting and enjoy the game’s gorgeous lighting.
