I think the addition of “brass knuckles” or “fighting gloves” for those who prefer the latter type of fighting would be awesome. Suplexing your opponents or hitting them with powerful uppercuts is really satisfying, but if we had more special concentration moves and an increase in the damage of our punches, I’m sure the game would become a lot more fun!

I just did a full runthrough of the introduction up to and just past Warrick (I’m currently fighting the Falstead boss) using only fists and I had a BLAST. No clue right now of the scope of all weapons contained in the game so far, but if its not already planned for I would love some further support for fist weapons or unarmed fighting. Wouldn’t even mind if it wasn’t as strong as other weapons in the long run, its just fun.
I’d like to add my voice to the requests for weapon options that enable a sort of unarmed “Monk” class path. The most important from my playthrough of the prologue with no weapon is that there should be a weapon type which:
Has increased damage from complete unarmed
Scales based on a stat (or stats)
==Has the ability to parry / block (with more stamina required per use?)==
Possibly ties to a superlight weight class that encourages wearing less (or very light) armor?
In reddit i created a post about this and many people pointed out to create a post here, i think that with the awesome animations and beautiful graphics some fist like weapons like some spiked gloves or brass knuckles something like that could be a great addition to the game. Hope some dev sees this ^^
less games are using this type of weapon, and they are so fun
you can feel like a martial artist or monk class and is always fun punch enemies, tonfa or clawn can be a better option to armor problem because of gloves or bare knuckle
