Game is very dark playing on Steam deck on TV using Steam Dock

Hey guys, love the game, just wanted to start with that.

I play the game in 3 ways, On my Steam Deck, thru my Steam Deck using Viture Pro XR glasses (my favorite way), and with my steam deck docked to my tv.

Both Native on my Steam Deck, and with the Glasses the brightness is fine, but connected thru the Steam Deck dock on my OLED tv it is almost unplayable as I cant get the brightness any higher.

Other games like DBD come in just fine. I know it is supposed to be a dark game but not this dark.

I know this is an edge case and I will keep testing setting on my TV, but I have gotten to the extent of what I can test right now.

I would be helpful with any advice you can give.

Hi, sorry to hear about the TV playthroughs experiencing issues, may i ask if you have turned off HDR inside the game when you play it on the TV.

Ok that did not work, but it lead me to the fix. Turning of HDR cause the deck and tv to stop communicating. The deck before I switched it off said it was HDR Forced Active. So I went into the menus of the TV input and turned on VRR which was turned off. Once that turned on, everything looked the same brightness, the steam deck when disconnected and the TV. I went back into the menus and HDR was back on again. Weird but everything is working now.

Very strange, however good to hear that you have resolved the issue. We will be looking into this to make sure nobody else experiences it. Thank you for the report.
