Game Design: Learn to repair gear ONLY AFTER saving Fillmore

Issue:
We saved Fillmore as part of the first chapter into the story. I think to close the gameplay loop of saving Fillmore, he should give players a reward, sort of like a thank you.

Not that I am hungry for reward, I just feel its a bit ‘off’ that that quest just ended very much silently with not much recall by him as a character to the lil adventure we had.

Suggestion:
Remove repairing for the entire first chapter (ie. from shipwreck to defeating Warrick).

I think its a better idea to introduce repairing via Fillmore rewarding us with first X times FREE REPAIR (number of times can scale depending on difficulty chosen by the players)

That way we ease characters into learning to repair their gear over time

It makes sense in-game lorewise as well - how can a blacksmith repair your gear in the middle of a thunderstorm, trapped in an abandoned castle/hanging around in the glades anyway?

Additionally the 0 coin repair UI at the start looks pretty confusing
