Frost weapon infusion may be causing crashes (Cerim Crucible)

From what I’ve gathered across ~2 hours of “Testing,” I’ve deduced that the frost infusion (and/or innate frost effect on some select weapons) may be causing crashes in my game.

I was doing Cerim Crucible runs at effectively level 1 on a new character. Even though I leveled up, I chose not to spend the points; an arbitrary challenge I imposed on myself. Much to my surprise, the entire Crucible seems to scale based on player level. But as I progress through the gauntlet, I end up crashing, multiple times, even at The Echo Knight himself. The count was approaching a dozen crashes when I began to suspect that my weapon may be the culprit.

Earlier today (before I made my new “level 1” character), I completed 3 runs in the Crucible without any weapons on a completely separate character, during those of which I never crashed, and those runs often took more than 30 minutes each. I even have a recording of the fight with the echo knight, on Path of the Unspoken, with no weapons, that lasted for 19-20 minutes. But for some reason, on my new “level 1” character, I was crashing every ~13-15 minutes.

I was specifically utilizing a max level, mastercrafted spirit edge (a straight sword which has innate frost infusion), which I was able to craft at level 1 via the scribe table. I haven’t used any frost weapons until today, and only today was when the crashes became so frequent, or “consistent.” This made me think that this was no mere coincedence, and that frost had to have some link to the constant crashing.

After what felt to be the 8th crash, and upon entering The Echo Knight’s arena, I decided to try using some weapon oil consumables, to change my weapon infusion for the fight. I utilized a count of 3 oils: 1 plague oil, 1 flame oil and 1 blade oil. By not striking with my base weapon infusion(frost) and only using my melee weapon when infused with said oils (not frost), I was able to progress through the duel and defeat The Echo Knight.

I didn’t get a pic with his corpse as I went too fast, but I got a pic in the Loot room afterwards.

I’m sorry that I could not get photgraphic nor video evidence of the crashing, but one can imagine the game abruptly closing mid fight, when striking(?) with the spirit edge, and/or perhaps any frost infused weapon. Maybe the frost status itself is the source of the crashing?

Note* I believe I was alone, in a singular remote realm, for the entire duration for each “test.”

If this does get investigated, and a solution is found, I would very much like to hear back on why this bug came to be, and how it was resolved.

I’ve attached the requested documents below. Please be careful as they might get easily mixed with previous versions of said files from another time for another bug report:
