Food and cooking system

In my opinion, the cooking has that double edge about getting profit and having fun.
Just as an idea, I would allow to exchange food per dishes with the cook in the town, so that way it doesn’t interferes with any mechanic. You can still recollect and cook on your own, but once you want to have some specific foods at the mid-end game, it could be used some comerce there (having to give more ingredients, unlocking the recipies and all, as you see it better).

I’m not sure I follow.

A double edged sword is a reference to something that is both a positive and a negative, i.e. can hurt your enemy, but also hurt you. Profit and having fun sound like two positives.

Exchanging food per dishes means what? Being able to give him food for other food? I’m not clear on what mechanical interference you are referring to.

What does recollecting mean here? Is it synonymous with cooking your own food? Who are you giving more ingredients to?

I really don’t understand what you are trying to say in this post.

I’m gonna rephrase then “getting profit (heals) vs not having fun”.

My suggestion is to exchange ingredients not cooked as dishes for already cooked dishes that the cook in the town could offer.

I have to say that i didn’t interact with him at all (with the cook). I always prepare the food (recipes) on my own.
At the end of the game (the current end) i end up having many different dishes, but it’s not like i prepared the character to have it like that, just the result of keeping leftovers or something like that.
Now if i want to have more of the dishes i really want i’m gonna have to go on purpose to pick them (not the funniest thought for me).
It’s not a drama, just giving feedback.
