Fix to enchants

I think you need to either:

1)make offensive enchants only be on weapons and defensive enchants on armor or

2)limit the # of offensive ane defensive enchants you can have on each item.

If you don’t you will push players to either be a glass cannon or too tanky to die, which aren’t particularly interesting ways to play, IMO.

Perhaps 1 offensive enchant per armor gear (do not allow stacking, armor pen, crit chance, elemental damage on the same piece of gear). Get rid of that. Then players can spend on phys res, elmental res, barrier, bigger health pool, etc.

Your suggestions are pretty decent tho most of the ppl are sleeping on the elephant that the problem is not the enchants or rings the problem is base balances between weapon and rune stats/scalings.

They need to balance those first so after they can play around the enchants stat balancing etc etc. But playing with numbers like this with such a radical way before balancing the weapons and runes will cause killing all other unique builds and froces everyone to keep playing mages or any 2h weapons with broken runes anyway..

Let me clarify Im not saying that these number adjustments are irrelevant I definetely think that these reducements were needed but it have to be done after fine tuning weapons and runes. Otherwise there will be no playstyle/build variety anymore.

Yeah I didn’t address that because it will all change with the class system, though I do agree as it currently stands.

How do we suppose to believe that the class system will fix all of these imbalances? Obviously we cant be sure cuz its not out yet xd

I basically started to think like class system will might be “the big curtain” that will hide all of the imbalances for a good amount of time so ppl will enjoy their time until they realizes that there are only a few good builds in the game to really enjoy lol

I am very worried about that possibility. The only way to avoid it would be to have a very thorough testing phase before 1.0 is made public.
