Fire explosion animation (Burning grass)

In the game, grass ignites when moving to a whisper or when respawning near one (if grass is present). A similar effect occurs when colliding with destructible objects and mobs. Barrels leave a small area of ​​effect, just like mobs. However, if an object is damaged in an area, an explosion animation occurs.
There is no fire elemental effect on the items.

@Silas-Inservio-Pax It took some time to confirm the final conclusions. I’ve updated the post; it becomes clearer when watching the video.

I’ve done some digging.

The flames appearing on certain whispers but not all is intended, every whisper with grass closeby will have flames.

Kegaran has devoted some time to this cause as well and found out that Iona’s Cavern flame vfx is missing (but the plants are burning and then growing again, this happens all very fast)

Alright, I then got busy with reproducing the flames with destructable objects. I could reproduce this only once but not more and I didn’t clip it sadly. My reproduce was with Sage Road as in your video, I made my way immediately towards Mariner’s Keep and shot a crate. My bow has no infusion or effects attached, yet the flames where there as you said wizorvi.

Grass still catches fire near the whisper.
This also happened with objects once, but before the patch was released. Monsters don’t seem to have this issue, but I didn’t see any mention of a fix in the patch.
