Fire element spell suggestion

Hopefully Thomas or another dev sees this.

A lot of games I played, albeit non ARPG games have a spell that it’s core principal is to “explode” DOT buildups.

Fire damage is by far the worst element for dps atm. Due to the fact that frost dmg has the shatter effect, lightning having spells that are completely busted when paired with ring of det + rune ring, then plague which has plague splatter that can easily 3 shot bosses, as well as fully clear rooms of crucible in literally 1 hit.

My suggestion is simple, add a spell that instantly burns the enemy for the amount of dmg that burn would’ve done. Honestly, once plague splatter gets nerfed it might b good to also make it so it works with infected enemies as well.

there instantly comes to mind naming it “combust” (if thats not already a thing??).
something like: touch your enemy and burn their soul (yeah i know very melodramatic)

basically you would have to be very close, and the character would grab the enemies chest. then you hold to channel the spell/rune and instantly drain HP based on focus spent and enemy weakness or resistance to fire.

I think the Burn or DoT of Fire Dmg should be a % of Max HP Per Tick that way it will feel impactful while not being overly op and will scale into the endgame
