In Sacrament it might be an idea to find a partner
I come from CRPGs and if I can romance someone I would like to as it adds to the immersion. I would like to imagine my character building a home in Sacrament and with that comes building a family. For me, it doesn’t even have to be that deep.
Maybe 3-5 small events like a date in Caroline’s bar for example. And after completing the event chain they show up in your home and comment about how you don’t spend enough time at home and are always out on an adventure; i would want some banter . Or they give you a daily login reward like some homemade meals.
I even feel like some Sacrament NPCs, excluding story NPCs, already have more personality than some main characters in other games that released this year
Something sweet and simple
True about some NPCs having more personality. There is NPC with robin hood style of hat in SW side of Sacrament, who doesn’t like to go out, if you talk with him like 10 times you can convince him to go to bar for one drink
There is also a Female NPC called Petra that you can convince to go the bar as well. She is in the Northern part of Sacrement, West of the training ground setting on the second bench.
Glad to see I am not the only person loving the NPCs
I want to romance the inquisition town crier. She can bring salvation to my sickened island anytime.
All replies are great ideas…cool!
dude romance is super cost intensive, that would be the last thing i would move funds to… But I can see it as a super optional and rightfully so: DLC
Depends on how it is implemented. I agree with you that it CAN be cost intensive if it requires an entire new system or if it is incredible deep to the extent of CRPGs like WOTR.
I want something simple instead, since I know it is not for everyone. But, we can achieve this by doing it in a similar way to how NPCs have new dialogues every time the story advances.
So you would have the option to initiate it at point X in the story. It can be just like a few dialogue lines, like inviting Petra to Caroline’s tavern. Then next story update you talk to her inside the tavern again. Then add 3 more events where you just talk, pure dialogue. NO cinematics or anything like that, nothing in dept or detailed. Just sweet and simple. And then they show up in your house and some kind of gameplay purpose like daily homemade meals.
I agree that this is something Low Priority especially in EA. I’d also be happy to spend money on it as DLC.
good idea, maybe “partner” can also help us collect planks and ingots produced when we are away.
That’s a cool idea!
Maybe even the option to assign them to a workstation and they start working on whatever you deposited there, like their own little animation and stuff.
Exactly. It could be part of admin resorces in city, like a Little AI and maybe Cook ingrediente for you like a real family
Yes could be part of the experience. And maybe a day Born childrens that run at home
