Enemy friendly fire

Hi,

i noticed that some enemies do friendly fire, and some do not.

  • bosses +
  • projectiles + (at least most)
  • aoe dmg + (like the firebombs, or the hammer smack of the tall boys)
  • regular attacks -

Right now, groups of enemies are the highest threat in this game in my opinion. Even more than bosses.

I would like to see a way to make being outnumbered into an advantage, by giving them the chance to hurt each other when they are clogged up.
Like in the example screenshot below. Would be nice if that guy would get some surprise from his friend.

That would create a larger initiative to think about positioning and crowd control. And it would strengthen the regular combat instead of hit-and-run tactics.

I have no idea if that might be problematic to change in the code though :wink:
