Enemies Attack Patterns

This might be a bit complicated, but perhaps the “difficulty” I would want in a co-op situation would be pulling a page from TLoU Pt II where the enemies would communicate with each other but you could hear them. So when one yells, “Get around them!” if the players are paying attention they could counter the move where as button mashers would get backstabbed.

I feel like everything you mentioned above is already in the game except for the red indicator, which I don’t want. I can read the enemies pretty clearly at this point, granted I’m 200 hours in. Like you said though, I’m a more hardcore player that is fine with learning the game over time where as a casual person who can’t dedicate 200 hours in 3 months might not want to learn the moves. But…

I feel like they’re already starting to account for that. Like the fire throwing enemies only throw one firebomb in the beginning but now they can throw up to 4 in the late game. The devs are teaching the player how to react to a more basic version of the move earlier on before ramping it up.

That is a great suggestion, i think i already brought it up in one of the threats. I like to call it “dolphin communication” and frequently use it in my TTRPG sessions. Its fast, clear, intuitive and makes it so manouvers don’t feel cheap.

That is my main point.

Great! Haven’t noticed that. Though imo Speed/Intensity increase would feel better than quantity increase if the goal is to teach a mechanic → More chances and more forgiveness for practicing. Not sure if they do that as well.

Sadly, currently the game is unplayable to me because of a bug.. Let’s hope they fix that one soon.

Oh man can you imagine the copp with friendly fire, its gonna be a funny mess, people playing as mages will kills team mates left and right with those fireballs and area attacks hehehe.

I think people should soldier on, you will get that muscle memory and the movesets and attack paterns will be memorized, hell i memorized the Echo Knight attacks after getting pummeled for the 100th time hehehe, now hes not that scary.

Oh if it’s full friendly fire and not reduced it’s gonna be chaotic fun. “we’re surrounded, time to slam my greatsword” Teammate behind him goes flying off cliff

I think they said it will be reduced, but not by much, maybe some skill will make it better, since the devs plan on introducing a skill tree.
