Dealing Elemental damage with the shield does not apply the status Effect correctly

Dealing Elemental damage by Blocking with the shield does not does not cause the build up of the status Effect.

As shown in this video:

It’s a good idea to also check the elemental damage dealt with perrys (I can’t at the moment).

Since the status build up bar is not visible, it is not clear from the video if the build up does not work at all or if the value is so low that it is not observable in practical gameplay, but it seems that it does not work at all since the youtuber mentions having tested fire build up too and this does not seem to work, so I assume it does not burn the enemies not even for a tick of damage.

To sum up, this recent video shows a lot of issues with shields:

-Status effects of elemental damage never triggers with shields: so builds based on applying frozen effect with shields (or whatever accumulation) are worthless

-Deal damage on staggering never works with shields.

-Gain health on staggering never works with shields

And it’s proven with shields that DEAL damage, not with reflecting damage.

Shields are not stacking up frozen/or any element when doing dmg while infused on block. I am quite sad and wish it to change. Is it a bug?
