So me and my partner were trying the Co-op when it released a couple of days ago in the experimental branch.
We created our character, we created our realm, and started playing together, normally, and as usual.
We entered Sacrament, and took all main and side quests available, so far so good, we defeated the “half” boss fight with Darak where he escapes and enters the Black Trench(sewers) area, and we were in pursuit of ending him, so we decided that he will actually be our first real boss.
So we entered the Black Trench, and managed to successfully unlock the area to the boss arena.
Upon entering the arena, the boss(Darak) was invisible to both of us, and needless to say we died, and retried entering the arena again, only to find that this time, the boss was only visible to the player who created the realm(my partner) and invisible to the other(me).
So we died again, and re-tried again, and again with the same result.
The boss remained invisible for the 2nd player in the party, and the first thing we tried to do is to exit the game altogether, and verify the integrity of files from steam, which completed successfully with no corrupted files found as no files needed to be downloaded, but we tried again anyway.
-The result was the same….
So we gave up on that boss fight, and went to try another just to test and see if this is an issue with THIS particular boss alone, or with all the bosses, and it turns out that there ware no issues with the Riven Twins boss, so we figured it only has to do with Darak in particular in the Black Trench area.
The systems that we were playing are both SteamOS(Linux) systems.
One is a ROG Ally(Z1E 1st gen) and the other is an HTPC system similar in specs to the Steam Machine that is set to release by Valve at some point next year.
Following the instructions of reporting a bug, I collected and archived the required files.
