Cutscene after the first boss glitch

Hi guys! I bought the game recently and I’ve been enjoying it a lot! Thanks for all your hard work.

Now, regarding the glitch: I was playing a new game with a friend, and during the cutscene after the first boss, his game crashed. I minimized my game, and when I maximized it again, the cutscene was gone. Ellsworth and the Baron weren’t there after the bridge, so I couldn’t continue the main mission. The quest marker still points to the bridge, but nothing happens when i go there. I tried restarting the game and leaving the area and coming back, but nothing worked.

Logs and prints:

    1. If it has, I haven’t found it.

You have restarted the game, verified files and overall tried some fixes?

Can you also add your Datastore to that shared link?

Yes, I’ve restarted the game.I haven’t verified the files yet; I’ll try that.

The fixes I tried were just going around the map and coming back to the bridge.

And where can I get the DataStore?"

Please let me know if verifying is enough. Can you also try the option “continue from last Whisper”?

Since it is so early, I actually recommend you to start our Realm over.

I’ve uploaded the Datastore folder. I also tried the ‘continue from last whisper’ option, but it didn’t work.

I started a new Realm, but I feel it’s important to solve this glitch too.

Hello!
Have the exact same problem. The game crashed after I killed the first boss and the cutscene started. Well, the cutscene had not really started: a blurry screen and audio, and then a crash to the desktop.

I tried:

  • multiple reloading;
  • veryfing steam game files;
  • continue from last Whisper.

Nothing helped, alas.

Moon is looking into it but I highly recommend to start a new Realm. That will be way faster.

I faced the same problem last night. Defeated the first boss and then the game crashed mid cutscene. When I continued the game, I was able to enter Sacrament but I did not get the “Fast Travel is now available” message that displays after the cutscene. Which is probably why I didn’t get the fast travel option if I go to a whisper and try to channel.

another thing to add,
I also see the same mission log as @Niru ‘s screenshot. Maybe my game bugged out before even marking the mission as complete.
