Thanks, I didn’t remap any buttons because the shoulder bash isn’t on the list to map a button to. It’s available to M+K which is V but not for the controller. I can’t find that action anywhere in the menus so right now, using this Xbox Elite controller I’ve lost abilities. So I’m back to the M+K.
By the way, Shoulder Bash is OP on Forest Trolls. One shoulder bash knocks them down for a few seconds where they are on the ground defenseless.
not sure if u can remap them, but u can at least test and calibrate the controller. for remapping there are also 3rd party tools like ds4windows, but not sure if it only works for PS controllers
Edit: does anyone use shoulder bash and knows which 2 button combo it is?
I found some youtube videos for mapping buttons using Steam and they do have it. You can set any button to do any key on the keyboard. So I will probably just make one of my buttons press V. I will try this tonight.
Using the mouse keyboard it isn’t a combo that I can recall, simply pressing V does the shoulder bash. Seems like a single action move.
It seems that the “R” key is set to block by default, but it can’t be changed from the key Settings. I want to replace it with a key for eating food. Can the blocking function of the “R” key be removed?
Not sure about which layout you are talking, but R is “soft” hardcoded to parry and V is “soft” hardcoded to shoulder-barge. At least under “mouse and wasd” layout they can be freely assigned to other functions, but there will be conflicts (as those keys will try to execute both functions).
I’m not quite sure either , but what I’m certain of is that it’s not the high-load impact of the V key. Is there a way to prevent a certain key from necessarily having a certain function? This is very troublesome for players to adjust the key positions.
And today I used a staff. It has two lightning spells. One is a lightning sweep, and the other is a spell similar to a lightning chain that can store power. Sometimes when I use spells to charge up and bombard enemies, if there are too many chain enemies, it will cause a fabric-like object to get stuck on the staff. It looks like the enemy’s cloak and needs to be re-equipped to make this fabric disappear
(I’m a CN player and I use Google Translate. I’m sorry if my meaning is not conveyed properly .)
not every game has it but its not super uncommon either, i feel like wicked has a very small deadzone by default and that setting the deadzone slightly larger makes the balance beam/climbing puzzles much easier. its 100% not something i want to be doing at they system level as id want to re set it again every time i go to play a differnt game…
For Mouse and Keyboard please consider some type of assistance for walking on narrow boards with WASD
Please Add the option to have combination keys for input like for example: E+Mouse1 to use a rune of course E should still be usable to collect items this system should allow you to also do weird stuff like A+D to use Shoulder Barge. “Sifu” has a similar system that is well implemented.
I play other well known arpg’s with m/k primarily because menu and inventory management is so much faster but it’s impossible with this game. inching forward diagonally on planks takes way too much effort.
If anything, I’d like to see the use of controller and mouse to be better integrated. swapping input source now isn’t very fluid. are there some settings I’m missing to improve it?
If you are not already doing so I recommend enabling seam input, always enter from the controller and then you can quickly switch between controller and mouse every time you click from the input device you want to use at that moment
Hi! I posted this on Steam and Zack The Slack invited me here to talk about this threat.
I will copy and paste it:
“This game is awesome! But I find some annoying to set all buttons, because if I don’t want to set the run button, or parry, you order me to set them or I can’t continue.
I was 30 minutes setting my perfect distribution and I’m not very happy with the end, but it’s aprox.
Sorry if I have some mistakes in my threat, but English isn’t my main language.”
