I started playing 2 days ago. Played for 3 hours without any problems on asia servers.
Tried playing again after a few hours. During the first hour game goes to the “attempting to reconnect” screen about 4 times but returns to the game.
After that me nor my friend have been able to play for more than 15 minutes without getting kicked. It goes to the “attempting to reconnect” screen and kicks the player to home screen. 19/20 times when trying to join a realm it kicks the player back into the home screen.
I have tried a vpn, different realms, different characters , tried europe servers, tried reinstalling but but none of these have helped.
Happend to us (me and two friends) we got to the saw mill then we started experiencing constant disconnects after that point the game was more or less unplayable. you got disconnected/reconnected about every two minutes. we tried restarting, and what not but it didn’t improve.
Hello. I have tried three different locations and changing who joins first and none of this has helped. Another thing I found out is that the problem only occurs when im playing with that particular friend. I can easily join other players realms.
I can add that I didn’t matter who joined who, as soon as there were three people in game it was a problem.
Also, there’s severe stutter when people are joining. If I’m the “host” my character is typically stuck doing whatever it was doing when it happened, which usually means running but it doesn’t stop so my character goes running in a direction uncontrollably. Everyone else is getting the disconnected/reconnecting blank screen.
If we are fighting monsters, the pausing is usually such that the monsters get the upper hand every time, they start acting before we regain control or awareness of what was happening.
I don’t think going to black is the best option here because it creates disorientation and then you’re basically killed the next frame that you have any control over.
EDIT: we also have this problem with character cloud saves where the cloud characters saves are now much older than the local ones which is odd to me.
Did you guys progress to that point on the realm together? Or did you add him after that point? Also, does creating a new server and playing with him seem to resolve the issue?
