[Combined] Label items Favorite/Junk + buy back option

Oh yeah ! I 100% agree, it would make the “keep or sell” rotation way faster and enjoyable, especialy in endgame.

Could I kindly ask you to stop flooding the forum with duplicate topics? This is being discussed day after day, again and again. It would be much better to contribute to an existing thread. Thank you.

Confirmed that it will be Fixed!

should be a way to lock/protect itens so we dont sell them by mistake, like i did many times now..

I dont know if my controller is faulty or the game is a bit janky on the movements. I accidentally sold my equipped weapon while mass selling junks and it really makes me feel like quitting the game already ever since I have accidentally destroyed my weapon before previously dealing with runes.

Really need the lock/protect feature. Until then I am dropping this game out of frustration

Hello everyone.
Often I got my inventory full after going hunting on bounties, challenges, etc.
After I open up my inventory to see what I got, some items are nice to keep for some stats, other good for selling etc. What do you think if there was an option to have some kind of marking items for “sale”? The reason is that I go to vendors later to sell and for now I either keep notes on paper which items to sell or rely on my memory (which some times fails me and I end up selling items I wanted).

Thank you very much!!!

I can share my own little strategy for this I use 1 or more chests, close to the entrance in my house as sell chests and the ones deeper-inside my house as Safe-Keeping chests so i know whats okay to sell.. Rookery chest i use as “deal with later stuff” which contain either keep or sell..

this i do in the mean time while waiting for similar options you are suggesting..
Yes this isnt the first Thread and its okay, it will probably get merged with the others

This is a nice solution indeed. Might work to be honest as I have chests for fire build, ice build etc. Would be nice to give them names.

I will try that solution you mentioned, feels it will work fine.

Thank you!

it’s true the controller input can be a little janky sometimes in the inventory, i’ve noticed that as well ! it’s not your fault. come back and keep killing them pestilent loiterers !

when i need to assign essence embers to gear or remove gems from my favourite weapon i either:

  1. use controller with shaking hands and sweat
  2. switch to mouse & keyboard and shake a little bit less

i suffered those losses before too. it’s so hard esp when you play like 30 hours using the same weapon and really master it, put perfect enchants on it…

Not having item protection and buyback is truly the darksouls of trading.:smiling_face_with_horns:

It would be great if in the Quality of Mental Health category having the ability to check a box on an item so a dumbass like me doesn’t delete a piece of armor that I spent hours enhancing! The worst part is that I did it twice! I’m in end-game mode now and when I’m farming I end up deleting all the crap that is in my inventory when I get back to Sacrament and i’m simply condition to spam the button to delete. I typically drop it in a chest to store and enhance until it’s finished before I use it but in both these times I forgot to put the item back in the chest before I go back out farming so it’s in my inventory.

I second this, I have ADHD and I have been asking for a somewhat “are you sure?” box, (at least when you are deleting some gear like high lvl or crafted or with several hours of wear), but devs haven’t implemented yet.

I have deleted my main weapon and gear by accident and least 4-5 times.

i’m on board the “plz save me from myself” train. the UI for that is not extremely clear. it is clear but it forgets that it’s showing messages to humans who are hyped on digital adrenaline and need strong visual cues.

a “mark as junk” option would be good too so you can sell everything you’ve marked without going one by one. i’ve sold good gear like that too purely through rushing.

i don’t believe it’s fair because when i die from overextending it’s fair enough. when i die from bad timing parry it’s fair enough. when i lose hours due to UI it doesn’t feel like “soulslike” anymore, it feels like “admin failure”

Suggestion: Create a system/button to “favorite” or “lock” equippable items in the inventory. Favorited items should have sorting priority in both the inventory and the chest. Additionally, the player should be prevented from performing any action that would destroy these items unless they are unfavorited/unlocked first. (This protection feature could perhaps be a toggleable option in the game settings).

Context: I play on PC with an Xbox controller in Brazilian Portuguese. I am 27 years old and have been playing games for over 20 years across various genres (FPS, MOBA, MMO, Fighting games, Souls-likes, Adventure, etc.). I consider myself a player who easily grasps the basic mechanics of any game. It was no different with No Rest for the Wicked. I found the game very intuitive; however, I am having a very specific problem that I consider to be mostly my own fault, but it’s making my experience frustrating: I accidentally destroyed 3 of my items in different ways.

They were 2 bows and 1 dagger, which were almost or completely fully enchanted/upgraded. I think the reason is that after farming for a long time, I go into “auto-pilot” mode. As a result, I ended up executing 3 different actions that destroyed my items, even with the warning prompts.

  • 1st: I used an item to remove an enchantment by accident on the wrong piece of gear (destroying it).

  • 2nd: I used a Sublime Ember thinking it was a Radiant Ember on an incomplete item.

  • 3rd: I used the option to extract a gem instead of destroying it. (I was so worried about not destroying the item that, intuitively, upon seeing the word “destroy” on one option, my brain automatically made me click the other one).

Yes, I know the game sends a confirmation message warning that the item will be destroyed, but every time it happened, I ended up double-clicking to confirm out of pure habit.

I want to emphasize that I don’t think this is a flaw in the game, but rather a player error. However, since it is very frustrating, I thought of this solution to prevent it from happening to me and other players who might go through the same situation.

Pretty much the title.

If I can tag items in my inventory as ‘keep’ or ‘sell’ it would save so much time when selling to vendors. This system works really well in D4 and would be a welcome QoL enhancement. Hopefully it’s a relatively easy one to implement!

Otherwise loving the game - still getting my feet wet but loving every minute of it. Amazing work.

They said that they are working on these for full release as I remember from the last q&a stream correct me if I wrong.
