Not being able to equip two same rings is a bit dull.

This was possible at the release, lots of build abused this mechanic, that was nonsense… It was to OP… ring are easy to get.

Can understand why you would be disappointed, but its definitely intentional nor uncommon among other games. World of warcraft for instance has unique equip rings that function the same way. NRFW could possibly do the same, but that would require nerfing some rings to keep things balanced. Right now, all the rings are pretty meaningful, especially when maxed out, so it is totally fine as is.
