Bosses' dying words (Spoilers)

They really tried to break our hearts in this new update. I know Alden the Caretaker says “Forsaken, spare me!” as he dies. That was just brutal. I feel like they introduced that sweet old man just to kill him off in a horrible way. At least he got a funeral afterwards. Poor Lara didn’t even get the dignity of a proper burial. From the moment she was introduced you could tell she was gonna meet a bad end, she was just too likeable to live. I know she says something too, but I can’t make out the words. Does anybody know?

By the way, you can tell the devs were big fans of Annihilation, that boss was straight up lifted from the movie. Goddamn horrifying.

She says two thing: “Father, I didn’t run.” and " They will sing songs about me."

Yup, Breach bosses have been very very sad.

Talk to the woman outside the temple, Igney think, and she’ll tell you more about Alden after you kill him.

Even more sad.

WTF Moon?

Also found this to be overexceeding the horror scale. Doesn’t a boss suffice which is mean on a normal level?

After the Caretaker, Irmgard talks about her lonely life, and how Alden was kinf to her, making her wish for more sometimes. This was very very sad to hear. And when you first meet Alden in Sacrament, he is just a nice old man seeking audience to save his village. No help was found, and we know the rest. For me it’s the best segment of the game so far, and the music of Alden’s funeral was beautiful.
