In regards to boss loot and bosses not respawning. Right now its not really a problem, but given that the game will eventually be so much larger, maybe each week you could have a bounty specifically for a boss that would let you kill it in the world again, and it would drop a temporary plague that let you for the week farm it in the crucible.
I dont want to see the same boss again, unless they have a really good explanation. This is a story driven action rpg right? So unless theres a story behind this, i dont want to see it.
The first boss was Worrick, and he could show up again later in the EA, after the areas were upgraded so to speak, but theres a reason hes a generic boss, hes just a normal soldier that got the plague and changed into that abomination.
Now the other 2 bosses of the EA are not generic, so the twins and Darak have sort of story behind them.
You will be able to fight the bosses again inside the crucible though, one of those statues will be a boss rush, so theres that.
I partially agree, we had this discussion in another thread, but i can’t find it for some reason. While yes, this is story driven, i always loved farming bosses for their weapons for example in BL2. There it also made no sense story wise to encounter a boss again, but u could just go back to the boss arena and fight it again until u got the desired legendary.
Sure u can do that by just creating a new realm but having 179 realms just to get the boss drop u want seems a bit excessive. If the story aspect should be “maintained” there still could be a bounty where u go back to the boss arena and maybe there is a new abomination there with the same loot table or something.
I can understand the desire to farm bosses or enemies for their rare drops.
