Will this be changed in a future update allowing bloodbound torment to spawn in the worst spaces known for a boss that requires so much space with the inconsistent hitboxes and speed of his attacks not to mention the forever lingering pools of poison that instant tick damage
I know theres a few rune attacks that can clear those poison pools and “lightning leap” is one of them.. unless it was a coincidence..![]()
That require me to switch my build up entirely even then theres not enough time or space to do it when the swings and stomps cover the whole arena the lingering hit boxes and random attack speeds does not help wish i could parry the sweeps but idk if im standing in the wrong place or its just impossible
Im not asking you to switch your build ![]()
Notice how i said “a few rune attacks” and try to find a rune attack in your build that can clear it.. unless it was a “coincidence”. (In other words.. dont try unless you dont mind wasting a bit of time testing)
But atleast you know what element those bubbles are, Is there any elemental interaction that could have a possibility of clearing it?
The sweeps that spin over and over have weird parry timings. You can parry them but it’s tricky since he alternates between fast and slow spins. The best way to handle this boss for me has been shove. All his annoying moves have tells or a specific wind up. If you shove him during those, it stops him from using it. If you don’t have shove, there are some rune attack which will do the same thing. I have used the 2h lightning dash rune attack for this. So you basically hold on to your focus until he starts to do something you don’t like and interrupt it. For my parry build, I basically shove everything and just parry his kick until he dies.
Also worth noting that this boss is always in a cramped space in pestilent zones, so it seems intended. Either brine vault, black trench, or lowland meadows. He can easily fill up over 70% of the fight area with plague in all these places if you let him. If you don’t have an interrupt, you have to be very intentional about how these plague spots get placed. Just running around randomly will make things very difficult.
Once you realize that you can essentially cancel each of his moves — from dagger to bow — using runes and parries, reworking the spawn might start to feel like a bit of a stretch.
Let’s just pray the FMA lady does not end up down there instead.
