Barriers in Crafting Progression

There doesn’t appear to be a clear path to acquiring crafting recipes for benches and storage containers in particular. I think it’s fine to rely on finding a type of equipment or rolling for one when it comes to weapons and gear, but it’s frustrating that players can’t get enhanced crafting benches without first finding one in a shop on a random roll (which I’m not sure is even possible).

Also, the fact that the builder’s workbench can only be crafted on a builder’s workbench makes the whole system kind of useless. I farmed and spent enough schematics to force recipe availability only to find out that I can’t build it anyway. So… now I just can’t build large chests anymore? Or really anything useful to a late game character because there doesn’t seem to be a way to get a Builder’s Workbench?

At the very least, please make Builder’s Workbenches buildable from a Basic Workbench. Ideally, at least make one accessible from a fully upgraded Workshop in the market, if not outright purchaseable. If it were up to me, I would make the Builder’s Workbench schematic available to purchase after upgrading the workshop to lv.2, and make the workbench in the workshop Builder’s quality at lv.3.

Yeah I just ran into this. Can’t craft a Builder’s Workbench. Daily quest for Concussive Bombs are only craftable with a Builder’s Workbench. Spent a bunch of Research Papers to get the bench from the scribe table.

Will have to rely on RNG drops for the bombs for now. Hope this is fixed.
