Is there some specific reason why the bounties and challenges are not just auto accepted, instead of me having to actively accept them?
Maybe it’s okay for the bounties since they are more of a “go kill these guys” kinda thing, however the challenges feel like they should be activated automatically to me.
As an example, I did not complete my “upgrade 5 things in town”-challenge, since I accepted it after I was done with upgrading Sacrament
Thanks guys, and keep up the great work on this amazing game.
I think it’s more the thematic idea behind interacting with the world and it’s characters. If they “optimize” all the achievements and interactions out of the process you lose that connection to the NPCs.
The guard captain is in charge of security, so you check in with him to see if he has any jobs and he also challenges you with tasks too.
The game world would feel hollow if it were just a checklist in menus for everything. The journey (even talking to NPCs) matters and is part of the experience and immersion.
Yeah, an accept all button would be ideal. You would still have to check in with the NPC and browse the pickings to see if you want to accept all or just target a few, so it keeps the immersion.
