Why is there a limit of 30 characters on a account?
Are they not stored locally on my own machine?
I already have 15 characters now, and when the game releases I will definitly end up creating more then 30 characters, since I really like this game, and prefer separate characters over switching gear around on existing characters all the time.
And I cannot just buy another copy of the game without having to create another steam account….
If somehow it costs you money to keep player characters in cloud or whatever, I think everyone would be ok if this is something you can buy more character slots for or something. If I could buy some DLC/ingame 10 characters slots for 5eu I would definitly end up doing that. And it would not be a pay to win thing in my mind that you are always worried about (i’ve watched a bunch of your interviews 
).
Like Thomas mentions in interview, I’m one of those people that wants to keep my characters forever since I will still play each character when I am in the mood for it.
Like on my diablo 2 I have like 90 characters that are level 80+ and all of them have unique builds/gear, and I still play these characters every year when I feel like some diablo 2 again. I would really like to have the same expierence while playing this game.
Please let me know if the 30 limit will ever be changed. Since the chance is high that if it does not change at some point I just stop playing this game because of it.
Since when I end up having 30 characters and then have an idea of a new character I will be unable to create it unless I delete one of my maxxed characters. This would make me instantly just stop playing the game.
I ran into the same issue on diablo 3 and diablo 4 that has a very low max character count, in just few months I had all maxxed chars and just quit both games forever since I could not create more.
