There are some discomforting elements I noticed while playing this game for about 4 hours.
Firstly, when I respawn after falling, the game has many factors that induce falls, and maneuvering through narrow paths using a keyboard is very uncomfortable.
This is particularly evident in the Aiona’s Flower quest. Respawn at the checkpoint upon falling, but the mid-level fire-throwing enemies include highly unreasonable elements.
Enemies that appear after running through a path where invisible enemies shoot arrows attempt very strong long-range flame attacks and consecutive melee attacks.
The issue here isn’t the strength of the enemies. The excessively narrow space to deal with these enemies in a situation where retreat isn’t possible (due to invisible enemies shooting flames and arrows) dramatically increases the difficulty of this quest.
Furthermore, if one dies here, respawning at the checkpoint covers a considerable distance, causing fatigue and discomfort for the player.
Not being able to respawn at the location upon falling creates a negative synergy that becomes a very discomforting factor.
Simply having strong enemies isn’t the issue.
However, unreasonable elements that cause discomfort for the player warrant consideration for revisions.
