I am doing a research project at Murdoch university in Perth for my honours in psychology. My subject is on mental imagery vividness during an imagination task. For the study I need a visual stimulus of a character going up a hill and then seeing in the distance a bigger journey ahead the video needs to be around 15 seconds long.
Just wondering if there is anyone I could get in contact with to get written permission to use some footage in my research.
I tried linking an image below for the kind of idea for the end view I’m looking for and use.
Yeah I thought the same when I first started learning about mental imagery and got caught on aphantasia. But, mental imagery is just the psychological research communities name for the it. It doesn’t just mean visuals that you may see in your minds eye. Its more so your entire internal experiences, like your generation of scenes that can play out in your head, your emotions, your internal monologue, generation of sound like songs and noises, rumination of thoughts, and action planning and lots of other stuff.
When completing an imagination task you can still have a vivid experience and imagine your self doing something without vivid visuals. You could have more vivid audios than others, or more creative thoughts. So don’t worry about potentially ruining an imagination task your still doing it right.
Its nice to hear from you and thanks for answering my post. I’ll make sure to abide by your request. I have sent a request to get access to the one drive with the logo.
I really appreciate yourself and Moon studios for letting me use your game footage in my project thank you so much.
