I’ve posted quite a bit already, but here’s another post. This one is about the use of Swipe Kick in the Marin Village area. When I use Swipe Kick, I can kill almost all enemies with just spamming 3–4 Swipe Kicks with no effort. However, when I attack with my staff, combined with using the other spells that consume Focus(working my ass off), it’s actually not worth building up Focus when I can just spam Swipe Kick instead. I couldn’t see any changes related to this in the new patch, but we’ll see. At least I’ve reported it. Screenshot of my weapon below. I call this The Ninja Wanna-be Magican Build!
Swipe Kick Feels overtuned, or the other skills feels undertuned. I can’t decide.
I have just beaten The Lost Huntress in Lowland Meadows with just Swipe Kick!

I do not understand the system. I can just avoid the Focus system and spam Swipe Kick doing tons of aoe damage. I have built up intelligence and focus attributes, but hey; just Swipe Kick and do more damage with way less effort
EDIT: Maybe going all in on Stamina next

Swipe Kick is still very overpowered after the patch. A single Swipe Kick takes about two-fifths of the health bar of every enemy around me, so roughly two Swipe Kicks and all three nearby enemies are dead.
That’s three enemies taking 164-176 damage each per Swipe Kick, plus chain lightning triggering at the same time. Pow, pow—two Swipe Kicks, and the whole area is cleared without even having to think about Focus. That comes out to a total combined damage of about 1056 over 4–5 seconds. And that feels really good. But makes no sense to me.

Something changed in the latest hotfix? My little ninja doesn’t deal as much damage anymore, only 60 dmg when doing Swipe Kick. RIP

It makes absolutely no sense that swipe kick does 50-61 damage while the claymore only does approx 35-41. And the claymore is slow, so the risk/reward just isn’t worth it. At that point, it’s honestly better to ignore the weapon entirely and just use swipe kick. Maybe I’m missing something? I’m playing on the hardest difficulty.
When attacking with the claymore the game feels hard/slow and gives no reward for the risk, but while the swipe kick makes the game super easy (killing enemies super fast.)
Solution: Buff Claymore to approx 60-65 dmg, nerf Swipe Kick to around 20 dmg.
