My wife and I recently got married 2 month ago, and we’ve been waiting for this game ever since Early Access was first announced it was almost same time as when we were engaged. We’re both huge fans, and our best friends are eagerly waiting for it as well.
I’ve actually reached out to one of the animation artists at your studio before regarding the katana movements because this is something I’m genuinely passionate about.
When the class system was announced, I was incredibly excited about finally getting to play the Samurai class. But when I saw the recent class list and Samurai was no longer included, I immediately started wondering is samurai class still planned for the game?
I really really hope so.
I was born and raised in Japan, and I’m an active kendo practitioner and competitor with a background in Japanese swordsmanship. If your team ever needs references, feedback, demonstrations, or information regarding Japanese sword movement, kendo, equipment, armor, weapons, posture, footwork, or even smaller cultural details, I would genuinely love to contribute in any way I can. I’d also be more than happy to provide confirmation of my background if needed.
It would mean a lot to me to see the Samurai class brought to life with beautiful armor and weapon designs, along with animations that really capture the feeling and character of Japanese swordsmanship.
And on a slightly more personal note my wife is a fencer, so she’s already celebrating because the Rapier class has been promised. Meanwhile, I’m sitting here wondering whether the class I’ve been waiting for this entire time is still coming. I’m extremely jealous of her right now. 
She’s keep teasing me saying that it wont come out
So please, please tell me Samurai is still coming!
