[Progression Blocker] [Boss: Brood Fight] The Brood Fight Does Not Trigger

Issue: The Brood encounter is not triggering. My character can run into the arena and nothing happens. The bats are flying around above, but no boss logic starts.

How I got into this state:

  1. I was able to do this fight before the issue manifested.
  2. I was not able to beat the encounter and decided to go farm healing materials in the lowlands.
  3. From the Cerim Chamber travel point, I ported to Sacrament.
  4. I ran into the lowlands and immediately crashed upon loading that zone.
  5. I relaunched my client and tried again to pass into lowlands. I crashed again.
  6. I relaunched my client and decided to try entering the lowlands through the shoreline at the start of the game.
  7. I ran from Sacrament to the starting area beach and swam across to enter the zone.
  8. I started to farm materials near the lift and died. I respawned in Sacrament.
  9. I decided to go back to getting in more reps with the Brood encounter.
  10. I ported back to Cerim Chamber travel point.
  11. I entered the Brood combat arena and the boss encounter no longer triggered.
  12. I relaunched my client, but again the fight would not start.
  13. I quit the client.
  14. I uninstalled the game via Steam.
  15. I reinstalled the game via Steam.
  16. I relaunched the client and loaded into my character.
  17. I proceeded into the Brood combat arena and the fight did not trigger.

when i came back from back tracking - fight didnā€™t start - ā€˜winged enemiesā€™ just stood there doing nothing

as you can see - there are still flying over the arena - but fight won;t start again

I have the exact issue on the first realm I made with The Breach. I reported it a few days ago here: [Progression Blocker] [Boss: Brood Fight] The Brood Fight Does Not Trigger

Since then, I started a new realm and blasted through the campaign, eventually defeating the Brood encounter without leaving the area.

Iā€™m sure this will get patched up eventually, but you may want to consider a new realm until then.

Hi, I have a huge bug during the quest ā€œFaith and Flameā€ and I canā€™t continuing the main story line!

At the end of the quest ā€œFaith and Flameā€ when the door of the mountain opens and monster come out of it.

I died during the encounter of the boss, the one with bats adds and the boss it self is a huge flying bat.

I am coming back to the boss arena, but there is no boss and no adds, I am in combat but nothing spawns.

I wanna continue playing, what do I do ?

I played 20 hours, finished the game, after the bug i restarted again.

My brother is having similar issue, how can i talk to some one and try to fix this bugs ?

Hello everyone,

Iā€™m running into an issue in ā€œNo Rest for the Wicked,ā€ and I hope someone can help or has had a similar experience.

Iā€™m currently stuck at the Bat Boss. After trying to defeat him several times, I returned to the fight later on, only to find that the enemies no longer attack me. They just float in the air, and I canā€™t seem to do anything to change the situation.

This makes it impossible for me to progress in the game, and Iā€™m not sure if this is a known bug or if Iā€™m missing something. Has anyone experienced similar problems or do you have any ideas on how I might be able to work around this bug?

Ok thx but a new realm make no fun , i wait and when Not Hotfix come i Play this game at Full Relase

have u guys tried the respawn from last whisper option from the main menu? sometimes that resets things. no promises though.
