When enemy dies in deep water, you cannot pick up their loot, as if it’s on bottom.
I was chopping wood in the beachy part of the game (first area after the tutorial), and the wood that I was going to pick up slipped down all the way into the water, and disappeared. I could’ve probably caught it if the chopping animation wasn’t so slow at the end, but it’s very annoying that items can disappear into the water after spending time trying to chop/mine/etc.
Would it be possible to make items float or something if they go into the water, or make it so they won’t go into the water (make water create an invisible wall for items)?
Just had this happen to me, it 100% should auto-loot to inventory once done gathering whatever resource. (Unless full)
Or no collision/physics for dropped resources
That would be so much better. It would save time too.
Many times I’ve experienced loot falling down to the water and I can’t pick them up.
It tends to happen a lot to sirens. In this screenshot you’d think I’m able to reach this one but actually no. No matter how hard I tried. It was just at the threshold of unreachable on land. The moment I get close enough, my character starts swimming, and is unable to pick it up.
This one might be too hard to see because of the waterfall, so I drew a red arrow there.
This situation, the piece of iron ore that I mined fell to the water and I couldn’t pick it up.
Yeah, Once i was mining copper but it fell into the water.
Can’t pick up loot inside water - when the enemy dies in the water
The loot in water is not reachable if it’s too far away from shore or too deep. If there are two destroyable boxes one on top of each other, the top box loot keeps floating in air when both are destroyed and is not reachable.
