Since the very beginning of the game you can TELEPORT EVERYWHERE just by holding L3 (or whatever the button you use for teleporting). There are no limit as long as it a place on the map.

Oh, wow this is game breaking exploit/bug.
Needs to be removed asap.

Noticed this bug when I played as well. Press left analog stick on Xbox-controller and you can teleport anywhere on the map. Bypass locked doors and ladders. Needs to be removed asap!
Yeah. A developer feature accidentally left on.

At any point in the game, no matter what, as long as the map is open i can Click down on my controllers Left analog stick and it will instantly Teleport me to the location of the “crosshair” on the map. It easy to reproduce its just left clicking on the analog stick with the map open will immediately move my player there.

I noticed that I can teleport wherever I want, please turn it off 
. I think it some developer function
(if I press the left joystick on the map somewhere I magicly teleport there)
I have noticed that you can teleport to anywhere on the map with the left analogue stick. I guess you are meant to be able to TP to the whispers but not places you haven’t already discovered.
Ye i found the same and come here to report it. Probably a dev tool was not deleted.
bug is critical as it can broke your game progess or corrupt your save file while you got killed while being teleported.
If you press the left stick while moving around the map, you can fast travel in any location.
Seems like a dev tool that wasn’t removed considering after the first boss you get told you can fast travel from the whispers?
Also can cause issues as you can TP to areas which kill you on landing etc

Ooof I just tried it and maaaaaaaan I can teleport everywhere.
I’m gonna put a wetransfer video link here where I show what’s happening. The button I’m pressing is L3, controller is a Dualshock4.
This is why Architectural testing is great, but yeah looks like an honest mistake.

Can confirm, pushing down the left stick while in the map will teleport you to that location.
There is a bug on map, you can teleport anywhere you want by clicking the left stick on the pad. Please hotfix
When you press the left stick on the global map, you are instantly transported to the point where the cursor was on the map at that moment. Quite a cheat thing =)
Yep, yesterday i noticed this bug. I initally tought it was intended, but then i unlocked the “real” fast travel with the whisps.
Like the title says, if you press L3 with the map open, you will be instantly teleported to the cursor location. Hope this will be fixed soon, feels like a cheat to me. You can also teleport to locations where you can’t land and be stuck there until you die.
Thankfully it’s been fixed in the latest patch. The system works!
It does make travelling feel longer knowing I can’t just free teleport anymore though haha
