Nith Ragdoll Glitches

Hopefully I’m not alone in experiencing this, but whenever regular size Nith enemies are killed in some sort of elemental explosion, the ragdoll character mesh starts flying around the screen like a wildly deflating spaghetti balloon. I’ve noticed other enemies almost doing this, but their ragdoll forms hold up much better.

This issue had originally plagued the grub hosts prior to the Breach Refined patch, that’s been fixed thankfully, but now the same issue has popped up again as mentioned above.

Maybe a complete overhaul in the animation systems for enemy fatalities is needed?

Thank you for the report we will look into this.

Regards
Steve

I sent you a message, but don’t know if you saw it or not, with a link to some video clips, so you can better see what’s happening.

I’ve seen this a few times in Nameless Pass, they’ll just turn into lazer beams of their textures and start zapping around

Yes, that’s another way to describe it. For me it happens anywhere there are Nith, even in the Crucible.

Found 2 enemy models that have object collision issues when dying while frozen (seems to be tied to shattering with physical damage). I shared 2 clips with the enemy models and the bug happening and how to reproduce.

There could me more enemy models affected by this issue but for the moment I only noticed these 2.

Let me know when you have downloaded the files so I can remove from google drive storage.

Hey Ortu,

In the first video it’s hard to tell, but you felt the collision from the enemy still after obliterating him?

(snippet:)

The second issue, where the enemy spazzes out is a known issue, thanks!

Silas

Hi, with “object collision” I meant as in the “self-collisions of the enemy npc 3D model”, the enemy npc does not push or block the character after dying if that is what you meant.

The bug I reported was only the “spazzing” for the 2 enemy npc models, if it is known already then you can close it please. I searched the forum prior to posting and couldn’t find anything related.
