My perspective on Breach Refined

I love that the game gives players more choices.

-The Easy, Normal, and Hard mode options help a lot. I’ve played Elden Ring and Dark Souls with just one difficulty, but I’ve got no problem with this—it means more people can enjoy the game.

-Glad to see poise damage on 1H weapons got balanced—stagger-locking enemies was a bit too easy before.

-The game feels more polished overall. There are more in-game instructions now, which is super helpful for new players.

-Shops got a noticeable upgrade—more item variety and better drops when exploring. Never gets old. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

-More rune slots = more joy

-Love the new resource minigames—whether you’re cutting wood or mining, timing it right speeds things up and gives better rewards. And if not? You can still hold the button and chill.

-I do kinda miss the tactical side of being careful with attacks so I don’t fall off the ledge …maybe the safety bars for ledges attack could be a option to toggle off in Hard Mode or future custom realms update?

  • Maybe add more mob density or new enemy abilities in Hard Mode to spice things up.

-Would be great if Hard Mode (Path of the Unspoken) gave us 20% more gold or better drop rate instead of xp. Right now, leveling feels a little too fast.

-Some area levels feel too low. I explored most of the 1st area and beat the first boss an leveled up to 6, then went back to Orban Glades for bounty/challenge quests/Darak fight..…an area level was 3. Didnt feel right for path of the unspoken

  • Suggestion: Let area level cap in Hard Mode be increased to match how the mode feels.

-Steam achievements would be awesome—style kills, resource mastery, or completing a difficulty mode without switching.

-Can’t wait for more runes, weapons, and areas—I know they’re coming, and I’m ready.
