Make Wands off hand weapons

I’ve noticed a lot of people have been against how magic works in this make, mainly because in the early game it’s hard to have the amount of focus generation required to make it work outside of consistently parrying. The melee attacks are also slower than most one-handed weapons (not to mention the lack of heavy attacks). So, why don’t you make the wand an off-hand weapon designed to be a high-damaging rune stat stick that doesn’t have attacks, but allows for a primary weapon to build focus with and to use when you have none?

Also, wands and staves have seemed very similar, which brings up the question of why they both exist. This change would separate the two weapon types, with one being more like a magical bow. I have a couple ideas on how to make staffs more enjoyable for magic but I will make another post for that

Would like to know what everyone else thinks.

wands were originally going to be offhands.

they were changed to main hands to act like “agility staves” , and orbs will now fill their original intended role.

of course, this didn’t work out because the wands are just 999x cooler than staves in every way possible.
