Item destruction warning message inconsistency

If you try to extract a gem from a weapon, you get a confirmation popup message with a warning that the weapon will be destroyed.

If you try to extract a rune from a weapon, you get no message or warning whatsoever.

I realize there is a message about it when you insert a rune, and the rationale not to warn us before extraction may be based on the fact that we were already warned, but that is not consistent with a virtually identical mechanic when dealing with gems.

IMO, since permanent loss of an item is obviously a big deal, the warning message should be on both sides…both on insertion and extraction. With that said, I realize for veteran players that would eventually get annoying. To address this, just add something like a “Item modification warning messages” toggle to the gameplay settings. Then, once someone has played the game long enough to become sufficiently familiar with the rules/mechanics, we can just go uncheck that box.

You’ll see this jared:

Maybe you are confused with another mechanic that extracts/infuses?

I see it’s doing that now. It’s possible I absentmindedly confirmed, but I thought it destroyed the weapon immediately upon pressing Y to extract. Obviously either I am mistaken or some fluke bug happened that the warning message didn’t pop up. Thanks for the reply.
