The realm system is awesome, its great that you don’t need a host to be online to play, however, I’m from South Africa, my friend is from South Africa, there are no South African servers, so we are both sitting in SA playing on a server hosted in EU, so we are both playing with ~200 ping which leaves the game feeling a little bit weird at times. It would be great if we could get SA servers but in lieu of that if we could still have the option to host our own realm locally as a dedicated or non dedicated server would be great and fix this issue for anyone else that might be in a similar position regardless of their location.

This. 100%. The servers are so unstable and my friends and I keep getting constant disconnects.

Same here, we get hit with packet loss often so we end up getting stuck in place or we forcefully walk in a single direction occasionally. I’d love if we could get our own servers in South Africa, or have the option to host a realm locally.
