Game crashes constantly in shared Realm

Hello.

Sorry, I couldn’t show the crash screen because i have to restart the PC when it happens, but I’m sharing the log.

The crash is semi-constant, usually when there’s action.

I’m using a widescreen monitor

Constant crashes every 15-60 minutes
Constant Crashed after 30 min to 1 hour in AMD setup

I don’t know what that site is. Not that I don’t trust you, but I’m not going to accept anything to see that file.

Can you do a dxdiag file? It will probably be much to big to attach, but maybe you could save it as a pdf and attach that?

Also have you tried changing the monitor to a standard 16:9 or 16:10 resolution and launch the game after? Maybe it has issues with widescreen? (I have heard others post who have it though, so it should be ok.)

No problem, but it’s the forum’s recommended site to report bugs, which is in step 6 of the reporting instructions:

”6.-Please upload these files externally to websites such as wetransfer.com or to your Google Drive/OneDrive account and link it in your topic, as we currently only allow images to be uploaded directly to the forum.”

Thanks for that luckydevil, you are correct.

Do you have the game installed on a HDD? If so, that will cause severe issues including loading, crashing and the game not loading textures and world components fast enough.

Topic name says for itself. Game is literally unplayable for me, on a high-end PC.

Crashpad reports are in the folder. Player Log File, Player Prev Log File, dxdiag file, and DataStore.zip are shared as individual files. You should be able to view all of it from the following links:

Idk if this is important, but I’m facing this issue only when play coop, when I play solo - everything seems to be fine.

I know we’ve spoken already in Discord but if you could please also list here the particulars of your problem, that way we are all informed :wink:

  • Does this happen in Local or Shared Realms?
  • Controller or kbm?
  • Is it one particular character or does that not matter?
  • I understand you have no performance issues, just the inexplicably crashing?

Shared Realms, never met this issue on local.

Xbox Series Controller

Haven’t play enough time on other character, so can’t inform you correctly. For now it’s only 1 character issue.

Yes, absolutely no performance issue, hardware-wise and connection-wise - all works perfectly until it freezes and forcequit to desktop.

I tried what was said in that post, and as expected. it didn’t help. Probably because our problem has a different nature. I don’t suffer from losing control or something. Except the game suddenly closes at random moment, everything else runs fine.

I would be glad if you give me exact information about what happened to me, what can I do from my side to continue playing normally and how to prevent such issues in future.
All requiered files was presented by me, if you need something else - tell me and I’ll add it.

The game constantly crashes every 10 to 20 minutes.

I can’t reproduce the crashes. Sometimes the crashes occur during loading, sometimes midfight, sometimes just running through town.

Ah sorry Koldros, that is currenty not my role (I’m a volunteer who moderates the forum, nothing more).

I also lack that background/expertise :wink:

I connect people and solutions, and I organise this platform.

This game is in early-access and Moon has chosen this approach you’re witnessing.

Up until 1.0, the game might not work for everyone the same way, but they are fast with fixes depending on the priority of the problem.

So far I’ve escalated your problem, Moon will review it act accordingly internally, that progress is as invisible for you as it is for me :slight_smile:

I will keep trying to find some solutions!
